Good morning and happy Saturday to us all.

Lovely sunshine is bathing the area. Showers are forecast to come in late this afternoon, but we really need the rain so I'm happy. Rather chilly though, in the upper 40s. By this time next week it is forecast to be summertime temps. Go figure.

It is really difficult to get my head wrapped around last week at this time, where I was meeting up with Suzytoo & Valojean and heading off into our magical day. Although my feet have most definitely hit the ground, my head is still floating around in the joy and love of the day. Again I want to say how honored I am to know, and be friends with, such an outstanding group of women.

DBGD is just on the verge of crawling. And then all h_ll will break loose. I hope that my many hours on the elliptical will help me in chasing her.

It has not been a great time for DH or DS#1.

DH went to a pulmonary specialist on Monday as his cough had become possessive of his time and it had hung around through two doses of antibiotics. The doc seemed to think that his refluxing was severe, along with allergies, and this was the primary cause of his distress. He has him taking a special antihistamine at bedtime and he has raised out headboard on the bed four inches. I thought the headboard would snap like a dry twig, but so far it has held. It looks awful, though. I was very, very sceptical of his analysis, allowing my inner Oz to diagnosis on my own. He's still on the antibiotic, but the severe hacking and wheezing during the night seems to have decreased substantially. I hope I was wrong.

DS#1 isn't so easy a patient. He has been passing out for no apparent reason. He has had multiple scans and seen three docs, but everyone is stymied, yet he passed out again last evening. He had a special test scheduled for this past Thursday, but had to cancel as he was confined to the bathroom that day. As is so much associated with DS#1, this is a mystery. I know his BP is lower, but our internist discounted that. I have been touting that his sugar may be wacko, but so far that's been ignored too. As you can only imagine, this has further diminished his positive outlook, and ours too.

DGD has four basketball games this weekend, two each day. I will attend two of them, maybe three. I saw her yesterday, after having not seen her for almost a month, and she is quite the pre-teenager. She is so adorable.

Off to the laundry, tea and try to catch up on four days of newspaper.

Make it a great day!
