Yo! - 4/21/12 - Luncheon in NYC

Good morning and happy Saturday to us all!

Glorious looking day out there, with the sun glistening off the grass' dew. The temps promise to be a warm kiss of spring, pushing the 80s. And then the bottom drops out, just in time for our homeward trip, when a nor'easter reaches our area with up to 3" of rain predicted. After so long without rain, it's too much too fast, but what can you do?

Today is one of those days that I didn't have to consult the calendar to double-check on the date. I knew it all along, and it's finally here! Our luncheon with the Ripka Sisters and the original Ripka is finally here. Some days it was a struggle to get all the pieces for this luncheon to fit, but they did and it's going to be wonderful!

Lots of pictures and commentarty, probably much more than you wish, will be yours, so stay tuned.

By the way, I turned 66 this past Tuesday and it wasn't so bad. Smiley Happy
