Good morning and happy Wednesday to us all.
Around freezing when I went to retrieve the paper. It was also sunny and. as a true sign of spring being around the corner, I heard more birdies than usual. However, the clouds are rolling in in preparation for another monsoon which will hit tomorrow.
I had a heck of a day yesterday with the Q and my one CC whose numbers were stolen. Auto delivery orders were pumping out but they had no card to attach theme]selves to as that card was canceled until the replacement arrives, hopefully today. There was one post on my Order Status which said payment was late b/c of this. Although twice now I've spoken to CS abut the issue, computers will do what they have to do. In all my years of being a paying adult never once have I not paid a bill, in full, when it arrived at my home. It really freaked me out to see that info attached to my name. The CS rep yesterday said they'd send another e-mail to corporate informing them of my situation, and she said it's not that uncommon unfortunately, so that there will be a paper trail of my dilemma.
Several packages have arrived in the past few days and I will report back to you soon, I hope. I am currently trying to figure out what JRQ I should wear for my book club meeting tomorrow night. Between missing two month b/c of baby sitting for the grands, and DS's issue, there is a lot of jewelry that is new and many of the women there zero in on what I'm wearing even before I can take off my coat. AWOL form their view has been "my" necklace through the BB ring through the Eclipse through the DD necklace and thankfully more as well. Looking like a Xmas tree would not be a good idea, so I really have to think this through. All problems should be so delicious. Any suggestions?
As I watched the news on TV last night I realized that I had forgotten to post that it was International Women's Day, although the whole month is dedicated as Women's Month. Unfortunately the reason my memory was tweaked to this fact was the coverage of women marching to demand equality in countries around the world and the degradation that some men heaped on them even to the point in one African country of having women killed in their demonstration. Too many of our sisters around the world are not as fortunate as we. Their daily lives are testament to the harsh reality that too many women face, with very little hope of it changing anytime soon. As we all celebrate the wonderfulness of Miss Judy and her creations, maybe we can spend a few moments sending good wishes to other women throughout the world who are struggling just not to be killed and live to help their families.
I am way behind in reading the posts and hope to rectify that today. Off to the gym soon.
Make it a great day!
