Good morning and happy Thursday to us all.

It was just snowing. I don't think I have to say anymore.

DS#1 saw his hip surgeon yesterday for the first time in months and months. He got two cortisone shots in his knees to try and mitigate the pain. He was also told that the hips he has now has a great deal of nickel in them and, of course, DS is allergic to nickel, something he didn't know know when he had the replacements done two years ago. He will have surgery to replace these hips as soon as the arm heals sufficiently so that he can use it with the walker. They are figuring either May or June. These new hips will be nickel free and have a ceramic lining so that metal does not so easily shear off at the socket. The surgeon reiterated that there is nothing he can do about the avascular necrosis.

Off to the gym, hoping when I come out it won't be a winter wonderland.

Make it a great day!
