Good afternoon and happy Thursday to us all.

Gorgeous looking day and pushing 70 today, with tomorrow into the middle 70s. And then we go back to regular temps which will feel like winter again in comparison.

DS#1 is progressing positively, but very slowly. He really can't do much of anything b/c of the restrictions on his arm, and of course it's his dominant arm/hand involved! It is somewhat difficult for DH & me to play nurse, but it is what it is. His fever seems to have subsided and the surgeon said that was pretty common to have. Thank you very much again for all the positive wishes, which I passed along. You're the best!

The grands have off tomorrow so we'll get to spend the day with them. When I last checked they wanted to do a movie in the PM but, since the weather's going to be so fabulous, they may change their minds. Brownies are already made and waiting for them to devour and we'll stop at a local loose candy store to get provisions for the movie. Wonder what they'll want to see?

I have been having terrible muscle/bone pain in my hips and knew and some general fatigue as well. My internist found that I was vitamin D deficient and began me on a regimen of 3000 IUs per day about a week and a half ago. Right after that is when the pains began. I've researched on the Internet and even though some recommend against stopping cold turkey, I have decided to do so. That's the only way I'll be able to tell if there's a cause/effect to it. It stays in the body longer b/c it isn't water soluble based so I still don't know how long it'll take to clear my system. Not going to contact the internist until I have more specific information to provide. I don't want to go through unnecessary tests unless I have to do so. Stay tuned.

Don't know how quickly I'll get caught up with the posts, but I'll do my best.
