Good morning and happy Wednesday to us all.

Currently it's a hearty 24 degrees, with a wind dropping the temp to the lower teens. The calendar may not indicate it, but winter is here. Had the extreme pleasure of wearing a DB long coat with a hood yesterday. It sure felt good having it on while walking from the parking lot into the hospital. And, as usual when wearing one of his coats, once I got into the hospital women came over to me to give compliments.

DS#1 is about the same. They are to try today to see if he can hold down any liquids. As of last night he could not.

Elizabeth Edward's death yesterday came very hard to me; it hit too close to home. May her courageous memory be a blessing to her children and her family and friends.

Off to get laundry started before I go to the gym and then hospital.
