Good morning and happy Friday & Xmas Eve to us all.

DS got to the interim hospital okay on Wednesday, although I almost wrote Monday as I think I'm losing track of time. I rode with DS in the ambulance. Didn't transfer until very late afternoon and, of course, when he got there most doctors on staff were gone. Big delay. The ride, over an hour, was harrowing, especially for DS. His pain level jumped from 6 to 9 1/2 so the ambulance transporters called in 'pain management' transport and put on the sirens & lights and went. Got us there much faster b/c we would have been stuck in some gridlock rush hour traffic otherwise. However, since I was sitting in the front seat with a full view of driving on the wrong side of the road, etc., I think , my colorist will have a very hard time coloring my hair next month. I didn't know my heart could pound so hard and still remain in my chest.

The trip there is 1 hour plus, one way, which we knew beforehand but still makes for a difficult time for all of us. He had a hard day yesterday and I just hope it was from the travel and adjustments.

I feel your love and concern and appreciate every bit of it.
