Good morning and happy Saturday to us all.

Cold and partly sunny, but the winds have died down so it is much more tolerable.

I have been exhausted, from recuperation and making Chanukah & Thanksgiving dinner. DS#2 got permission to have the DTGD for the first night of Chanukah until 4pm Thanksgiving. So, voila, i was once again an apron. Had DTGD not been involved I would have gladly forgotten both holidays, but anything for the baby. I am paying the price now.

The physical healing is coming along nicely, but I'll never win a bikini contest, not that I would have before anyway.
Oncologist wants me to have a PET scan early December, for which I have script that came in the mail today and to see him afterward for blood work and exam. He feels that we'll find nothing, and I hope he's correct.
DTGD has found the spirit of opening gifts this year. She also has become a fan of the "Dreidle" song, and sings it, along with helping to light the candles but only in the electric Chanukiah. No longer is she befuddled about what to do. She now helps everyone else open their gifts as well. And, instead of playing with the bows or wrapping, it is all about the toys. I get so much pleasure just watching her, especially when she acts out stories with her houses and figures.
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and, if it applies, a wonderful beginning of Chanukah too.
Make it a great day!
