Good morning and happy Saturday to us all and a belated happy Thanksgiving too.

Weather has turned cold and blustery, but with bright sunshine.

What a week it has been for me. After such a wonderful time last Saturday at the holiday party with so many of my Ripka Sisters, the rest of the week was a roller coaster of emotions.

DS#1 was hospitalized briefly and left the hopsital feeling as poorly as he went into it. Things are about status quo, but it has been a very tense week trying to deal with his needs.

DS#2 has a major car accident on Tuesday, causing his car to be totaled. He had just dropped DBGD off and was turning into a shopping center to get his hair cut when a woman sped out of the lot right into him. He was mightily bruised and sore but the hospital said he had nothing permanently broken. More anguish here.

I hope everyone else's week went better than mine and that you're well on your way to holiday merriment.
