Good morning and happy Saturday to us all. What a crazy morning! We finally got hit with a snow storm and we got 3-4 inches, and then about a half of an inch go freezing rain on top of it. So, where am I? At the salon getting my hair colored! All my DH could do was shake his head in me going out in this mess. And it was quite a mess, with the city streets being untreated and very slippery. But a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do, and getting one's hair colored is one of them for me. At 2 pm I have a styling appointment and I certainly hope driving improves by then. Thanks to my trusty iPad I can catch up with things while my head is covered in foil! DBGD has been practicing the sound of the letter "B" much to my delight. I have been pushing it as I hope to be called Bubbe by her. She is such a lovey. DS#1 has surgery on his arm & wrist on Monday. It's the same procedure that he had on the other arm last year, except he's also having a cyst removed from this wrist as well. Because of his relying on canes and walkers to support himself, he has displaced his ulna nerve and this causes a lot of pain. Hopefully this surgery will go equally as well as last year but it's still a worry. In between hair appointments I' ve got a ball game to pop in on too! Almost time for mt shampoo. Gotta run.
