Winter Weather Bling Report

Brrrr, we're even shivering in central florida today and the thermometers are expected to dip below freezing. Wouldn't be so bad if our houses were actually insulated against the chilling lake winds that drive the "real feel" temps down into the high teens/twenties!

I know Star8 is snowed in in Beantown, so today's bling report is dedicated to her and my Ripkanista friends who are also snowed in. I'm into winter tones today, warm carnelians, turquoises accented by pearls cognac quartz. That led me to a "Rixby" mix with a dash of Suspicion marcasite thrown in with the carnelian beads.

Bixby's ornate silver seems to blend very well with richly textured sweaters, and the cold weather never fails to drive me toward a rennaissance inspired fashions. Texture is the word of the day! Smiley Happy Ripka's pearls added an elegant frame, and of course, her Monaco ring in ginger quartz is a natural "go with!"
