Vicenza jewelry shows should really be called Bronzo or Silver shows. I looked at the upcoming Vicenza lineup earlier today and only 3 pieces were gold and they were old-aired-100-times pieces. Come on, Q! You're missing the boat.
Q claims to be the biggest retailer of gold jewelry but I strongly disagree. Q may have a large volume of 1-2-3 gram items but that doesn't mean it's quality jewelry. Or Q goes to the other extreme with multi-1000 dollar items. Why not go for the mid-range market? There really is a market for quality gold jewelry in the $300-$1000 range.
Don't talk to me about gold prices. I know where they are, where they've been. Why can many retailers offer quality gold jewelry at $50-$70 per gram while Q charges more, especially EG?
Ok, that's my venting for today.
