The style has been around since the 60s or 70s, it just wasn't for regular folks. COCO Chanel designed and only a limited number were made. Jackie Kennedy had one and wore it often and the story goes, she had to wait years to get her hands on one.

@KJV This reminds me of the black spinal craze or the druzy pieces ad nauseum when they'd dim the lights when the pieces were presented.

I'm not into trends and tend not to wear them in jewelry or clothing.

@Annabellethecat66 When the older fellow used to be on, he presented a Jacqueline Kennedy necklace with similar links. I think she had it designed for herself.
