I don't think any shopping channel programs based on what viewers like to "watch to see what is out there" and not purchase.  But I miss those days when we had a lot of gold jewelry shows and I purchased and wore a lot of gold jewelry.

This yr I've bought from QVC   J420105 for 1,129.00 and that was a sale price.

QVC has a 14kt gold Florentine bangle that I liked , but, not the price I bought the same bangle for 998.00 Local

jeweler made me a deal I couldn't refuse. LOL

So, spending around 2,000 this yr. and it's only March

I'm just not wishing upon a star. QVC has made some serious money off of the shark. ROFL

I've been with them since day one. I did purchase quite a few pieces from those shows.  I like substantial heavy pieces.

I doubt we'll see any real gold shows. 

I just bought a 9.5 gram 14k rose gold bracelet for $500 from Sarraf.  That is soooooo much less than Q would charge for that gram weight. They now make them as ordered and said it'd be 6 weeks. It took just 3 weeks.

I've purchased from Sarraf in the past. Great customer service. I've never had an issue with a product.

I am not really a gold person---I still have a few things now,  but about 15 years ago I gathered all my cheaply priced gold things--14K mostly-- that I bought  alot of when gold was a mere 2-3 hundred $$ a carat---from the Q---and by then gold was $1200+ a carat --and sold I it all. Made alot of cash from that,--- Did it a few times and included my wedding ring--diamond was tiny but there was alot of gold in the setting.  I have a few small pieces left. But would not spend the prices now days  on any gold---I don't wear jewelry enough anymore.

Yes indeed.  Qvc is in trouble because they have more viewers than customers.

I'm still a buyer but not for gold.  I've bought quite a bit of JAI, but I've covered the bases.  I don't think they really can come up with something new.  So now I'm on a save money kick, my choices were from Shop LC until they dropped DISH, and now JTV.  Yes, they both have some junk, but if you are selective you can get some nice pieces.  We all have become quite educated watching QVC all these years, I thank them for that.
