What to do with the "strings" on a bolo bracelet?

I knew they bothered me from a previous purchase but I went ahead and bought another one recently.  There they are, hitting against my arm with every movement.  Such a small thing but I just can't get used to it.  Any solutions besides taping them to your arm?

@depglass   Can you manage to size it so you can slip it over your hand even if a little loose? If so, you can tie the ends that are hanging loose into a double knot which will take up some slack. If you're sure about the size, you could add some clear glue around the knot to keep it secure.

Can you do "repairs"?    Just put on a regular clasp...

Send it back; it'll continue to drive you nuts!

My husband brough me a beaded and braided bracelet back from China when he went a few years ago. I love it but hardly wear it because it has those dangling adjustable parts. I feel like it would get germs on it if I wear it much. I see people wearing them often and always cringe a little.

I have 2

one is a very pretty sterling bracelet.   I got the little ball at the end caught in the copier machine once.   I'm retired  now but I almost never wear it

The other is on a macrame type cord, it's not as annoying

Knowing from experience that they're highly annoying, I don't buy them to begin with.  Why would you?

@Desertdi.  Probably not a job for an amateur as it would involve soldering.
