Anybody remember when QVC had Beverly Hills Gold? I still have a few pieces from way back in the day. It was so long ago I think Jeff & Judy & Kathy were still there.
And I just remembered a couple of other pieces I got many years ago from QVC called Imperial Gold. Does that ring a bell with anyone?

The first thing I bought from QVC (when it was CVN) was a pair of Imperial Gold hoop earrings. I still have them and wear them. I still have the Imperial Gold box that they came in along with the receipt. I think they were a little over $100 at the time. I also had an Imperial Gold bracelet. It was too big for my wrist, so I eventually sold it. The earrings haven't gone out of style, but the bracelet wouldn't match today's style.

I have a pair of Eterna Gold, drop ball earrings and the ball fell off. They are about 5 years old. Has anyone used their guarantee policy and do they really repair or replace? I called Q's CS and they gave me a phone number to call EG.

Hi shaggygirl, yes I remember Beverly Hills Gold. I still have a few pieces & they are still very nice. I also remember Imperial Gold. And I still have some Eternagold pieces. They are sturdy & still good as they day I received them. Guess that was the good old days of jewelry shopping. Remember the 18K gold shows?

I thought most jewelers wouldn't repair Eternagold because of the unusual makeup of the gold that makes it so durable?

A jeweler can solder anything, eyeglasses, platinum, eternagold to pot metal. Attaching a missing ball to the earring should be a easy fix.

Uh, oh, I just received an email from the Q saying that the next airing of Eternagold has been cancelled and not rescheduled! I love eternagold--maybe they are on the way out.

Gold is so expensive I cannot imagine they can do the volumes that QVC would want to do. Seems like almost every jewelry event lately is advance orders so that QVC doesn't have to carry the inventory.
