Just a question for you all. I have plenty of rings that I love, but they all feel 'substantial' when I put them on my finger or even just holding them. My question, is that a co-worker recently became engaged, and she was running around showing the ring. She took it off and handed it to me (she just does these things) and it felt so light! I mean, like it wasn't even in my hand. I think I'm fairly familiar with what she was saying it was, but if it is what she says it is, it 'should' be more weighty. I didn't say anything of course - but I'm wondering if she was given something else that she thinks is genuine? It's not my place to question it to her, but I thought I'd ask the jewelry divas here what you think. I don't plan to say anything at all, but just thought it was strange. I've never felt a diamond and gold ring feel so light.
