High quality cubic zirconia just like Diamonique and Bella Luce on Jtv.  My friend's son and his fiance chose recently bought her wedding ring set from Absolute in 10k gold.

Never had my CZs set in gold get cloudy.  I clean the back of my large stones with a toothpick.  It gently rubs the "soap, lotion scum" off the back and they sparkle like new. 

 

My Affinity diamonds don't do that!  All you can see is the Sterling outline!  Diamonds are lost in the setting.

These twist-up cleaning brush sticks are excellent for CZs and diamonds. Amazon sells a 3-pack for $15.  Makes my stones look like new.
