What Old is new again;Part...

How many of you remember Barbara Bixby sterling silver reversible heart enhancer from many, many, years ago. It similar to the one she has on line now, except without the pearl and it's not a locket. Anyway I wanted a long heart Y necklace. I took this enhancer and put it on a bali weave chain(1/4 inch width) , I cut off the top  and bottom of the bracelet. Added the enhancer part to the top part and the heart to the bottom. It hangs 5.25 inches along with my 30 inch John hardy necklace. All this jewelry is several years old. Next I plan on making some y heart earring. I love the quailty of designer fine jewelry. Now when a ideal comes to mind,I make it. To bad i can't redo rings......but maybe.

It sounds lovely, but is a bit hard to picture.  Will you post a picture of your new creation?

Re: What Old is new again;Part...

I have one bracelet of hers I purchased probably more than ten years ago.  It has three strands of small pearls and the connector is so unusual.  It has peridot and amesthyst stones in it.  I should try and post a picture.  I probably have only worn it three times, if that.  I actually spoke to her at the time I purchased it.  I called in to order and they asked if I wanted to talk.  Jane T. was hosting.  Her son was going to college in the area I live in and we kind of struck up a little conversation about it.  Memories.
