Went in Another Direction

For some reason I fell in love with the pear shaped turquoise doublet ring and ordered that instead of the three stone ring. I also got the turquoise cuff. They both arrived today. I can't take my eyes away from the ring. It is my first pear shaped stone. I have long, kind of narrow fingers (barely size 6) and the size of the ring is perfect. I usually "anchor" a large single stone ring with two narrow bands on either side and that is exactly what I did with this ring to make it fit more securely. The diamonique stones surrounding the pear are very believeable in size. Love, love, love. As for the cuff, I was initially unimpressed but it is growing on me. When i stacked it with the thin three stone diamonique cuff from awhile back I immediately began to realize its worth. Thre two pieces look lovely together. I got the new cuff in average size, my usual, and it fits well.

I'm curious - did anyone else opt for the pear ring? If so what are your reviews?
