FYI, Wendi Russo, ex-host from evine, is now hosting on JTV. I always liked her on evine so glad to see her back in front of the camera.

I wondered what happened to her. She seemed to have left Evine abruptly. She often did fashion shows there.

I caught her debut Saturday night. She was on with Jennifer Miller.

I was rather surprised especially because she was on HSN for a very short while with a jewelry line. I wonder if that was just an interim thing for her until she could host again.

I personally liked her more on fashion shows on Evine than I did on jewelry shows. Hopefully this job lasts for her. JTV hosts seem to come and go like no other channel I've seen.

I didn't know she left Evine. I don't sit and watch shopping channels so it takes me a while to notice when a host has left or when new hosts start. The thing with JTV is that it is a revolving door for show hosts and the ones who are good but don't have down home southern roots don't stay very long. When is a professional with real experience, she won't last at JTV.

@chrystaltree, I didn't know Wendy had left either until I saw her promo for her debut on HSN with her jewelry line. I happened to be snowed in Saturday night and was flipping around when I saw her on JTV.

I didn't realize Allison Waggoner was gone from Evine until I read it here.

The turnover in hosts on JTV is even busier now than in the past. I don't watch nearly as often as I used to, and now when I tune in it seems there's always someone new. I was surprised to see a former "America's Next Top Model" contestant as a model/presenter. A couple of weeks ago, in the thread "Casey Taylor JTV," I posted the advertisement for JTV host auditions (held January 13 - 15) so clearly they're up for even more new faces. I wonder what's happening with the company, if major changes are in the works.

@dooBdoo, for several months now JTV has been advertising right on the bottom of their screen about host auditions. The one I saw was to be held in NYC but I swear they had it already so I wonder if they are doing it again.

Seems like I heard somewhere (maybe from another host on evine) that Wendi left to pursue her 'side' business of working the beauty pageant circuit. Next thing I see her on HSN selling jewelry, but only one stint. Now she's on JTV.
