Wearing Judith Ripka charms on a necklace?

I am loving the new hamsa hand charm but would really like to wear it as a necklace, has anyone had luck wearing them on a necklace? I am wondering if the circle would fit just clipped on the lobster claw part of her shorter lengths in necklaces?
