Re: WATCH COLLECTORS --SEPTEMBER 2015

They may do "special event pricing" on that Excursion.  But it might be like the Bolt, those originals never came down enough in price. Everytime I think I might sell my Swiss Excursion, I remember what they did and stop myself. Only when I am totally ready to let it go, will I.  Mine was in the gunmetal and boy, does that platinum MOP radiate from the dial. I get so many compliments on that watch. That and the SANIII MOP on the black leather strap generated the most comments. That is out of all the watches that I've purchased over the years.

My price adjustment on the SAN I came this morning, phew! Now if the watches would just arrive...

I called CS this afternoon to find out about my price adjustment & the woman said it had already been adjusted & my value pays would reflect the lower price.  I asked her why no one ever bothered to send me an email to tell me that they'd adjusted the price for me & she couldn't tell me why & got a bit snippy sounding with me.  I'm glad I don't have to deal often with their CS!  The CS girl I spoke with on Sunday when the price dropped was super nice, so I guess I got a bad apple today!  Sheesh.

Re: WATCH COLLECTORS --SEPTEMBER 2015

The more I look at the GT SAN I, I'm wondering if what I find so pretty about it is that the green in the abalone picks up the yellow of the GT?

Jena, you got the ST, right?  How do the colors in the abalone dial play with the ST of the case & bracelet?  I'm still thinking of getting the ST when it's the TTV price, but I'm wondnering if I'll like it as well as the gt?

aubnwa:  glad you love your GT SAN I.  I love mine too.

aprimo:  hope yours SAN I arrives soon so you can enjoy it too.   I'm glad the price adjustment came thru.

Jena:  the SAN V blue mop and pink mop dials are so soft,  that it was hard for me to justify keeping both.   I'm glad you like the blue mop.  STOP.  Another SS with a light colored mop dial will be too similar.  Now, a GT looks totally different. Woman LOL

Java: I'll try to do some measurements for you this weekend.... do you want the outer box measurement for the 10 slot or the watch box measurement itself?

Aub, that CSR was anxious to get out of Dodge.  Friday and it's been a long week.  Customer Service Dept. is the worst dept to work in.  See someone other than the party you were speaking to was in error.  She was tired of having to handle others errors.  Anyway, you can see online on your acct. where the payments were lowered, right?  Now that you know that?

Aub, the ST shows off the abalone colors real well.  I think with both color metals, you'd be hard pressed to return either of them.  Both would be beautiful.  I know each abalone dial will be different but mine is most colorful with the lime to emerald green that really radiates over the purple background.    I do believe my serial # is 146/800.

Re: WATCH COLLECTORS --SEPTEMBER 2015

Jena, glad that you got it figured out. Smiley Happy You keep both!  LOL.

The SANI is sitting at the Post Office waiting for me to pick it up.

LavJ, I would greatly appreciate if you could measure the outside of the watch box itself. The big box I will either collapse and keep or recycle at the PO. I have to figure out how I am going to get the watch box home. I have to take it in the subway. So I am trying to figure out if the bags I have will accommodate it. . (I have very large shopping bags that I I can put the watch box in.) Or if I should just create a handle and carry the big box home, Sometimes I just throw those big dive boxes out. They are a hassle.

Wish that was all I had to worry about. LOL.  LavJ, again. Thank you. Smiley Happy

aub,

Ah, I think I have dealt with the curt one before. She wasn't even well-informed on evine shipping policy. And I wasn't rude to her either. Maybe she was having a bad day, but it does sound like her. Poor you. Most of them are very nice and try to help if possible.

What matters most is that the price reduction was made and you have your watch to enjoy. Smiley Happy

Looking at this ladies 38mm ST abalone watch, it would be perfect if......the bezel were smaller...the rims around the subdials were smaller and then there would be more room for the AWESOME ABALONE. Geez, the guys have the perfect one. They have the date window also. What are we, chopped liver??? I know, I know...there is only so much room with the 38mm. To me the perfect watch is one without subdials, with date window, then no need for more than one stem on the side. The large sweeping hand would then be the second hand and not stuck there in place and never used. That watch is on my wish list. Smiley Wink
