Lynn4: you have a great watch collection. I like the SAN III also.... I have the GT and SS on the bracelet and 3 of the GT on straps (pink mop /white, brown mop/brown, white mop/black). I find the bracelet versions more comfortable on my wrist. My ideal size watch is probably 35-38mm, but I have lots of 40mm and they are ok, and a few 42mm. The 42mm is my current limit and I only break the 40mm barrier if I really love the watch.

My snakeskin Venom has arrived and it didn't disappoint. The RT is soft and the strap and dial are a combination of medium brown and black in the snake print. I would not recommend this watch for anyone with a larger wrist. My wrist measures 7" (at the spot above the wrist where I wear watches). I'll be wearing the watch on either the last hole or the next to last hole, depending upon the weather.

Well Jena, with those 2 choices I can see why your other watches are sitting in the dark. New toys always seem to attract our attention. But the good news is that you are so happy with your LZs that you have no desire to buy any more watches. I'm trying not to wear the same watch or the same handbag multiple days. I need to give my collection some love or else I forget what I have.

Lynn4: the Watch Collectors Thread has been running for quite a few years.... because we encourage people to join in the conversation . Everyone starts as a lurker just reading along. Then, one day we get lucky and someone starts to join in. That is what has kept the thread alive for so long. We are happy to have you participate, when ever the mood strikes. Each month we start a new thread. It makes it easier for people to drop in, at least I think it does.
Enjoy your new watch. LJ

Did anyone else watch any of the Evine Invicta webcast last night? It apparently happened last night and was announced on Tim Temple's Facebook page and via email from Evine. However, I didn't get the email until this morning. It's over an hour long and the camera work is pretty bad. I set the quality to HD but it's pretty iffy--maybe it's my connection (Comcast ).
But I heard Eyal say that they are working on "acquisitions" that will improve the brand. When Tim pressed him on it, asking if they were acquiring watch brands, Eyal said yes and elaborated a bit (paraphrasing) "a lot of things come with brands; designs, access to movements, distribution channels; we're all going to benefit from it, not going to expand to something very different, Evine viewers will out there will all benefit from it; our focus as a company is going to be expanding to very unique pieces."
I have no idea what that all means, but I think it's very interesting. I really hope it means something far better than more webcasts like this. Although I'm sure all the fanboys will hundreds of dive cases cluttering up their house enjoyed it. Seriously, those guys probably loved the access to Eyal, Tim and the new designs and I'm happy for them, but I found it frustrating and most people are not going to hang in there for it.
If you want to hear what Eyal said about "acquisitions" but don't want to slog through the whole webcast, it's maybe a minute and starts about the 34 minute mark.

It just occurred to me to wonder if Eyal was hinting at an acquisition of Android? When he said ""access to movements"" that could have been a reference to Wing's Chinese connections and access to the Chinese tourbillons. Wing said he wanted to concentrate on designing... Hmm. What do you think ladies? Crazy idea?
