WATCH COLLECTORS June 2015 part 2

I can't find our original June 2015 thread,  so I'm starting part 2.   Everyone is welcome to stop by and talk about watches,  your finds, your quest, your questions.

Re: WATCH COLLECTORS June 2015 part 2

Thx LJ. I was tempted to start this thread before but I held off. Evidentally Java got sidetracked.
On a watch note, my latest is in the city, hopefully UPS will decide to just deliver it and not dump it off at the Post Office.

Re: WATCH COLLECTORS June 2015 part 2

Thanks for starting the thread LJ. I am so not liking these new forums. Hopefully they will improve soon.

I haven't bought any watches in a while. I still like that Invicta Pro Diver Automatic with the navy blue dial and center links. But I haven't bought it yet because of that stupid dive box. I guess I don't want it that badly?

Re: WATCH COLLECTORS June 2015 part 2

aprimo:  those watch boxes take up a lot of room.  So far I've turned the smaller ones into a sewing box, a tool box, and a box for watch straps and extra links.  I'm using the larger box to store shoe polish and supplies, and I'm going to use one in the car to hold misc. stuff in the trunk.  In all cases I've taken the foam out and tossed it.  I took a one slot box and I'm using that for thumb drives.

Re: WATCH COLLECTORS June 2015 part 2

I have 4 - 8 slot boxes and all are in use. 3 for larger 40mm or so watches and one box for bracelets. I don't want any more boxes. Tons and tons of 1 slotters, I can't throw anything away. These boxes have long been a problem. The fancy pink Renato boxes are all stored as well. If they could have come in a shabby box, I wouldn't feel bad disposing of them.....TRASH!! But like we discussed many times, a soft fuzzy sock would be ideal!!!

Aprimo, which diver is that? It sounds like one I'd love to wear too.

Item 631-169. I saw it in the Invicta online catalog months ago and was waiting for it to come out. Then they shackled it to that stupid dive box! Cat Mad

Thx aprimo, I really like that watch. I'm trying to be in the NBZ now but I'll keep an eye on it. Nice pic.

Re: WATCH COLLECTORS June 2015 part 2

Hi all:

Have been very busy. Did get sidetracked. My apologies!

Thanks, LavJ for reviving the thread. I must say this new format takes some getting used to. I did manage to make my font a little bigger. Just click on Font Family for the desired font, then adjust the size. Is this too big?  Please let me know.

Thanks.

Another tip: this website seems to work better using Google Chrome. It looks really weird using Internet Explorer. If things look jumbled, you might also try using a different browser.

Haven't figured out if I like 2 or 3 better. 1 is just too tiny for these eyes. LOL.
