Hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far.

Evine is celebrating its All-Stars event and in terms of watches, I don't see much for women that wow me. Gucci watches. Oh, and they're bringing in one show of Versace handbags for all of you handbag mavens out there. 

Tonight they will feature an Invicta TTV: high polish GD with auto movement and "dive case." 

No prices have been adjusted.

i''m hearing through the grapevine that Dooney will have a TSV September 8. There's suposed to be QVC2 TSV on 8/14.

Hello to the followers of this thread.  Not much watch buying going on, I see.  The watch that I have had in my cart ....forever....waiting for a price reduction lower than what I’ve seen before...just reduced.  642-035.  I don’t know how long this will be reduced to the lowest Ive seen it, without a code.  $179.99.  I have the YT and love it.  Always wanted the SS just because you can’t get an automatic with the great specs this has.  Just a heads up.

Not much going on with me in the watch arena.  Just getting them to the jeweler to get a battery exchange seems to be more of a job than I can handle anymore.   Only automatics for me in the future.

Jena:  Hi.   I'm guessing that watch is the S.Coifman automatic.   I have both the GT and the SS version.  Love the dial on the SS version,  but the GT is my favorite for the overall elegant look.    Didn't you order and return the SS before?   These watch obsessions can make us order and reorder the same things.

17 watches packed up for new batteries,  hopefully tomorrow.   Also pulled out the Renato Caibre Robutsa GT with the light blue dial to wear.  The dial matches the handbag I chose.

Hi LAV.   Yes you are right.  I did send that one back.  It never tripped my trigger and decided to let it go back.  But then the price got better, here and there.  Now is the best yet.  It’s one of those obsessions that I wish I could get over.  I don’t really need it, but it’s the specs that are few and far in between to find anymore.  Swiss made and parts,  sapphire crystal, and an automatic for $179.99.  But I wish they’d sell the thing out and I could forget about it.  I find the YT amazing, but I never wear it either.  Crazy.

I have 16 watches setting, ready to go for 2 weeks now and this is ridiculous.  I’m afraid to look to see how many more are dead.  The downside of watch collecting.  Good to see you here.  I finally surfaced.....lol.

Jena:  you are right about the specs on the S. Coifman automatic..... unheard of these days at anywhere near

the sale price.   I happen to love black mop when it's colorful.... and the SS one I got has a beautiful black mop dial.   Lately when I look at my watches my joy in owning them is mixed with the knowledge that I bought far too many.   It's curtailing my purchase of more watches,  so that's a good thing.   But it's also casting a shadow over the collection I already have.

In life,  we tend to repeat behavior patterns,  even when we should learn that making changes would be for the better.   At least my collections have all been fairly benign,  they just take up room,  cost some money, and often require some maintenance.   No major negative implications other than clutter!  Since I stopped buying watches I've resumed collecting higher quality soap and bath and body products.

Lav.   I bet if I did order that SS now it would be a return.  The MOP dial would not be great, all picked over by now and I’d be faced with another return, paying both ways.   I hate freight both ways.  At least if I got it sent to me free because I am holding their c/c but they are not offering it today.  Maybe tomorrow!!!
