I have to say that I am very disappointed in QVC in the last few weeks. I ordered a Judith Ripka bracelet during one of her recent shows. The order status indicated it was "in process." A few days later, I checked to see if it had shipped and the order status was "backorder." Apparently, they took too many orders and couldn't fill them all -- within approximately 2 weeks, my order was cancelled. My husband ordered a Honora necklace for me for Christmas during the show on Saturday, 12/18 -- while QVC was still guaranteeing delivery for the holidays. The necklace still has not arrived!!! It was shipped on 12/20 via UPS. My husband was so disappointed that I didn't get his gift in time for the holidays. He called customer service this morning and was told they can't do anything till January 2 -- if we haven't received it by then, we have to call back.
When we checked with UPS, they said the sender has to put a tracer on it but the sender (QVC) won't do anything till January 2. I understand their 7-10 day policy for packages being received, but I would think that's through the regular mail. When they send something UPS and guarantee delivery by a certain date and we don't receive it by that date, I think they should at least put a tracer on the package. What good is guaranteeing Christmas delivery when there is really no guarantee you will get it. Needless to say, my husband and I are very disappointed in the service we have received.
