Veronese fans - a question for you

I am not wearing my gold jewelry so much these days (between the economy and the price of gold), so I'm looking at the Veronese line for replacements.

I like the set of 5 bangles - but I would like to know how they hold up.

Would the constant jangling together wear the gold cladding off? Have any of your pieces showing wear?
