@songbird  I think, if I need it longer over sweaters this fall I'll probably just use an extender chain.  If I could still wear bracelets I'd order one to use as an extender, if the links were similar.  The arthritis in my hands and wrists just can't take the weight of even a light bracelet, let alone a ceramic watch or something heavier.  It sucks to get old!

I just received my paperclip 18" chain and I see that it can be made shorter by attaching the clasp closer down the chain. Im wearing mine as a choker! Also I have a few of the Ultrafine magnetic braclets including the bead and paperclip ones. When I wear them together the magnets all magnetize together. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there any solution?

Clasp the lobster claw clasp on the 5th line and you will have a 16" chain,
