Oh, I'd love the original .999 silver of UltraFine to come back--no comparison to this stuff. My .950 (current) version of UltraFine is starting to tarnish/get a copperish cast to it that demand significant cleaning--and I take excellent care of my jewelry.
My original Q pieces of the .999 version, though, still shine brilliantly with minimal to no upkeep. Maybe you could find a photo of one of those oldies but goodies. Not as much variety, but beautiful.
Thanks for the heads up!

@Sammycat1 For which items do you want pictures? I have pictures of nearly all 200 .999 UltraFine Silver items (1997-2004). There have been about 350 .950 UltraFine SIlver designs (2007-present).
That's interesting that you say your .950 silver has a coppery cast. Mine has had that too, but I've had to polish .999 silver from the secondary market that turned black. My original pieces stored in the Silver Safekeeper are bright.

Could you just pick out 1 or 2 of the .999 to show? Thanks. I can live through your pics, lol. Who knows, you may pick something I own. It would be fun to see some photos. Th
Rees a world of difference between this and the .950.
My .999 purchased directly from the Q, wiped clean from time to time, looks great and I store mine in either the silver safekeeper or Wolf jewelry boxes. I haven't bought any on the secondary market. This coppery cast of the .950 has happened within the past year. They must be messing with the alloy.
Thanks again! You're the Q Library of Congress of Jewelry.

Mine still looks great. Has never trnished or had a coppery cast look to it. Still very bright!

You're lucky. Mine--and those of others--have this cast. Not always, but more frequently. It can't hold a candle to the .999 ultra fine.

I have several ultrafine pieces, they all tarnish. I don't keep them in boxes.

Happy UltraFine Silver 28th Anniversary!
UltraFine Silver debuted on August 15, 1997 with a 2-hour show with host Judy Crowell and guest Ron Mondillo. The original collection was .999 silver jewelry made in Providence, Rhode Island. These are some of the items that I believe were on the premiere show:

Thanks @Pyrite2616!
I have a few of those pictured, plus I checked my jewelry box and I have a set of rings and a multi layered necklace.
