@sunshine 919  Love my trips there to purchase stones for making my jewelry. Beautiful silver items and turquoise.

I really love the desert.  I am also enjoying the background.  I bet you have fun when you go.Smiley Happy

@Shelbelle, we have coyotes in our area.  It used to be they were out in the country.  Now they are becoming more prevalant here in the city.  It also used to be that they were afraid of humans and would take off.  Now they are so used to being in both urban and suburban areas, that is no longer the case.

We have 2 stray cats that we take care of at our office.  About a month ago, a co-worker and I walked out to put the food out before we left and there was a coyote right there staring at us.  It was all I could do not to scream and run but we both just backed away.  But my heart was racing.

I wanted to stop buying jewelry but the Tucson show broke me - even got some of that very blue African aqua from Chuck.  Did anyone buy the blue amethyst?  It sold out quickly

I tried watching some of the shows and just couldn't.  I found the gems boring and unexciting.  If you liked them, enjoy!

i loved seeing all the new finds - i did order African aquamarine earrings and hope they are as blue as they looked on television.  loved seeing the red citrine, the blue amethyst, the glimpse of the tanzanian color shift amethyst, the purple garnet, the original designs of Victoria, and felt like we had quite the opportunity with the Sleeping Beauty sold there.  i had gotten Chuck's bracelet last month and love it, did buy his small hoops this time.  i had to hold myself back this time around. i can't remember seeing so many lovely things back to back in a while.  Evine did a great job.

@chvall99 I know what you mean.  It is very hard to decide which pieces to purchase when they post so many online for a show from multiple vendors.  I think the sleeping beauty rings from Victoria Wieck and from Chuck Clemency are wonderful.  I just received them today.  168-733 from Victoria and 169-746 from Chuck, and 169-736 from Chuck in the blue halo.  They are all winners, in my opinion.  The stones in the rings I received are of very high quality, so they both have very good connections. I am wearing the Victoria Wieck ring right now.  It is the most basic/casual of the three.  The big one from Chuck is a high impact ring with a completely different, almost flamboyant personality.  It is more of a fun ring.  The truth is, I don't ask for much in my jewelry items-- just really good color, cut and clarity in a gemstone, and a sturdy setting with a design I like to anchor it.

You be careful out there..... The cat  food can attract a coyote and may be the cats could too. Just watch out.

I agree, very nice shows, lots of tempting pieces. I also got small SB hoops by Chuck, 2 other’s by VW and today using their free delivery I added 2 more rings. Of course I will not keep them all but will see. Very tempting  few days, glad they are over.

Only bought one thing this go round -- too many opaque gemstones for me this time.  Thank God--that saved me some money!

On to the Q's Gem Day this week.

Received the blue aqua - yes - it is very blue - I have had aqua back in the 80s and it was never this blue - I got the stud earrings, hoop hearrings and tiny ring - not sure if I will keep or not becasue of the price - very good quality
