This woman win the prize for obsessive jewelry collecting.  Maybe she makes it but never sells it?  It's probably l Sleeping Beauty too,  since that's what the Zuni use in their petit point jewelry.

How talented and what a great gemstone to work with.  No wonder her jewelry is in demand.

She’s most certainly her own best advertising, and I can’t see a single piece of her work that I wouldn’t love to make my own.

For something as amazing as her work, there’s never “too much” of a good thing.

Iconic.

I don't think she's obsessive .... and I'll take one of each, please.  Beautiful!

I'm sure you've heard this before @Kachina624 . The reason why the Native women wear so much jewelry when they go out is so that they know their jewelry can't be stolen from their homes because they have it all on! I learned that in a class I took...an anthro class about Native Americans of the SW.

Don't know.  I have to admit I really hate  turqoise especially the Sleeping Beauty kind.  Just sick of it.  I really don't like any gem that is cabochon.  Not pretty to me.  It's cheap looking. Gems have to be precious and cut well with fabulous color.  Otherwise , I don't even look at it.
