Today is my 35th wedding anniversary and I got this.

SE1597ED-YG-AA-3.5.jpg We bought this emerald and diamond suite from our local jeweler for our 35th wedding anniversary which emerald is the stone suggested. The set is actually very petite the emeralds in the ring and pendant are only .60 carats, but the color is good and it is very clean. The earrings are .30 carats per ear and the quality of the stones seems less with a lighter color and inclusions, but they are so small you can't really tell.

I usually buy my jewelry from blue nile, QVC, or pearl paradise, but for the last couple of years, we have been buying from our local independent jeweler to help our local economy.

So, needless to say, I can't justify buying anything on gem day tomorrow, but I will be watching!

DH always gave me jewelry BC ( before children). I gave him gifts too. He kept it up once in a while after. So did I. But sometimes we just went to our favorite place for dinner. We were almost always at the beach where we spent our honeymoon.

If any of my friends asked what I got him for our anniversary, I would say, "ME!" LOL!
