I really like the look too. I have bought several, including the star diamonique linked above, but they are mostly 16 inches which lays in the middle of my chest on me. I would have to have +/- 15 inches. Everything is made so big! To the person who suggested taking it to a jeweler to resize, how much does that cost?

I have a bunch of those tiny charm and I honestly can't recall where I bought any of them.  I've had them for years.  You might want to look for bracelet charms or earring charms and have them altered to wear on a chain.

This morning, I took out my tiny silver elephant and put it on my neck wire.

I just made my own with a short chain and a pearl pendant I already had.

I have 3 that are beautiful.   The findings are so small I have to fight to get them fastened.  I have been looking for magnets but so far even though they are not big they are not small enough to attach to the original findings.  The original as chain can not be removed on any.  I may have to take them to a jeweler and have them special made.    I like the petite for everyday especially.

II bought mine from Dogeared website and had so many to select from. I bought mine without chain as I have so many chains already.Check other websites some offer pendants only  which would be cheaper....

I have several in gold and all were around $100 each. I have a few in silver that I got very inexpensive on eBay. I just searched petite necklaces

Thank you all for your replies!  I am going to check out all the places you suggested!  I just think this is such a sweet and pretty look!  

I would have to get a very small chain also -- maybe 14 or 15 inch.  All the other chains just are too long.  

I am going to start scouting around the malls to see what I can find, too!

Maybe sometime I can talk DH into getting me a dainty little gold one!!!
