I received three packages in the mail today.

1st one - J288075- the peridot three stone ring - it is a beautiful happy medium color peridot ring. The peridot stones are large, without any inclusions to the naked eye, and they are cut very well. I am happy with this one!

2nd one - J288076- the iolite three stone ring - Well, Sammycat, you were right, and I was wrong, you brilliant gemologist, you! The stones are too dark in the ring I received and one of the stones was cut at a bad angle for its properties, unfortunately, as it appears clear where it should appear dark, like the other two stones, and this color absence is very noticeable from multiple angles. It will be going back unfortunately.

3rd one - J287956- the ginormous blue topaz ring, that I will name "Blue Sky" as that is what it reminds me of. I had been hoping for a darker color saturation, as the host stated it was a Swiss Blue topaz. I definitely received a Sky Blue topaz, without even a tad of "Swiss". When I opened the box, it was clouded due to the cold air outside. Then, in a few seconds, the cloudiness disappeared and the sparkle from the center stone almost knocked me unconscious. The stone was cut by a master cutter for sure. The stone could probably blind a person in sunlight. It is a beauty, that is for sure. As I have the large round sky blue topaz, I am not sure I have a need for this ring, but how could I give it away to a close friend for the holidays, or even send it back? I love the cushion cut and grandeur of this one. I forgot to mention the setting. It is lovely and estate-like, and oh, bother, I'm keeping this one!!!
