Haven't purchased in a while.  Most of my gold is 18K.  I have a few pieces that are 14K.  The last times were at Shophq and Gem shopping & a few places online.  I never sold my gold as others have.  I intend to leave them for my child to do what he wants.  I can't even take the sight of Sterling anymore. Just sick of it. Worse to me is 14K over silver.  I totally avoid it.

I just bought a 14k rose gold bracelet with 9.5 grams for just over $500 on sarraf dotcom. I've purchased from them in the past and never had a complaint about the products or customer service.

I've gotten these from them before.  I've always gotten great 18K from them. And some platinum.

@cody2 Same here. I have a ton of jewelry I bought, or was gifted with, in my working years. I still wear some of it, gave some to my daughter and have been purchasing smaller, everyday pieces to wear when I get dressed to go out running errands or shopping. I ALWAYS wear jewelry, just different kinds of pieces now.

What can I say? I'm a jewelry sicko!

I have a ton of beautiful gold pieces bought in the last 25 years, I still wear them proudly. A lot came froim SNBC at thsa time their gold was exquisite and reasonably priced.

@cody2  Yes.  I also bought a lot of gold...mostly from value vision and Shop NBC many years ago when  gold prices were very low.  Heavy beautiful Italian gold pieces. Many at $200 an ounce  less.  I enjoyed collecting, but, decided in 2013 to sell the heavier gold pieces I no longer wore. I came out real good as gold prices were so high when I sold compared to when I bought the pieces. I still have a lot of jewelry left.....Retired, I only wear a few earrings now....need to probably sell off Some more.  Just not quite ready to yet.

My mother recently gave me 4 gold bangles,   gold rings, bracelets, gold charm bracelet, a heart locket and some other pieces (my sister got a bunch of her jewelry too)..  all my Dad gifted our Mom over the years. He enjoyed buying blingy gifts for her anytime. Of course she received jewelry for Holidays and her birthday... all adds to my gold collection.   i just don't wear my gold, even the 50th birthday diamond and ruby 18k ring.

i mostly wear my bali silver. too afraid of being mugged!
