I'm envious you got while the going is good. I should have bought more. I have a good bit from back when Judy and Paul were here but those day are lamentably over. I've sold some on eBay here and there and made a good bit of money, more than the jeweler would give me. There is definitely a markets for it with real jewelry can be out of reach.

Same here, would like to sell mine also. New management of QVC is not as good as the previous. Quality not good, prices high & return policies are terrible. Will be leaving QVC after 25 years of purchases. Very sad about the whole business.

Unfortunately, I have metal allergies, and can wear ONLY gold. I still have everything I have ever purchased. Don't need any more.

When I worked, I bought and wore lots of jewelry and bought much of it right here. Now that I am retired, I rarely wear much of it anymore. Bangle bracelets from Eterna are some of my favorite pieces and I have several. Used to wear several at a time. The pieces I bought for approximately $200 at the time are now selling for $1000 and 1300 range here at the Q where I bought them. If I could find a reputable dealer that would give me a fair price, I would sell a lot of them along with all the gold necklaces and rings that went with them. How about you? Do you have a box full that you no longer wear?
@cody2. It's good to know the weight of your pieces as a dealer will likely pay less than scrap. Current gold scrap for 14K is approximately $32/gram.
As @GenXmuse said, selling direct to consumer as on sites like ebay can bring the most money. I'm particularly fond of ebay as I've been selling jewelry on the site for 27 years.

I bought a new 14 kt gold hinged bangle. Engraved/laser cut Florentine design. You just have to want something bad enough to come up with the pesos. LOL
If you wait till it goes rock bottom again have a long wait

I have a lot of 14 and 18k gold pieces that are heavy ( my preference) that I purchased 40-50 yrs ago primarily in Asia. Now, except for wedding set, I only wear sterling. I haven't sold any of it yet ( no need of $) but once gold hits $2000( within 12-18 mths) I'll start to unload much of it, probably to Gold Buyers.

@cody2 I'm in the same situation. I hesitate to part with my heavier pieces because I know I'll never be able to afford them again.
In December I sold some 14K rings and 2 bracelets. Made $1900 and these were just spare pieces that were never my favorites. They were pieces I seldom wore even before I retired.
I enjoyed having the extra cash for the holidays and still have some left. By sheer coincidence I stumbled upon the website of the guy who bought my pieces. His prices are 3X what he paid me. I'm going to sell more and those will be listed on e bay just to see if I can make closer to what that guy is asking on his site.
