The coveted Halston necklace. J330450

My blue necklace arrived today. I love the color and the chain length. The clasp on the back is magnetic and has already once easily come apart. Why oh why a magnetic clasp on a 30" necklace that would go over the head easily? Will probably send it back because I don't want to babysit it.  Thanks to all who helped me locate it!

That's a lovely necklace.

I know you shouldn't have to but if you want to keep it and are concerned about the clasp, you can replace it with another kind like a lobster claw. It's not that hard to do. I've gone the opposite way at times and replaced conventional clasps with magnetic ones.

You can get clasps at just about any craft store or JoAnn Fabrics.

@Must Love Dogs  Since you don't need the clasp to get the necklace off and on, why don't you just glue it shut with a good glue for metal?
