@SilleeMee The silver version is $159, I think, and the rose version is about $350... I suspect they're selling a 'look' more than anything else. It is confusing because they say 'created spinel stone' and then say 'synthetic aquamarine, lab created aquamarine'... So which is it... The longer description clearly calls it a lab created sea blue spinel so one assumes that's what it actually is... Either way, it's pretty...

Yes, @stevieb, that is a pretty ring...whatever it is.
The color is so soothing.

Pictures can be deceiving, but it looks like the Esty version is darker, as though trying to simulate a Santa Maria aquamarine... I love aquamarine, both the lighter (as long as there's good saturation) and the darker Santa Maria stones... When too dark, though, they can look like other gemstones, London Blue topaz, for example... And when they're too blue they can look like a Sky or Swiss blue topaz... And while those too are beautiful, I like an aquamarine to look like an aquamarine and not like a blue topaz...

I know what you mean about the darker aqua stones @stevieb, especially the SM aquas. My friend showed me her aqua ring once and declared that it was the most beautiful aqua she's ever seen. I looked at it and said I think you have that mistaken, that looks like a sapphire to me. She said NO and said it was a SM aqua. Up until then I'd never seen an aqua so deep blue in my life. It was pretty but not a typical color for most aquas. I love aquamarine, too. I like them to have more of a light turq-blue-ish color, not dark but close to a Paraiba blue color with more blue in it.

Here is their version, which I prefer. A hundred bucks, ten to ship and available in four installments...
Much prettier!!!

@stevieb wrote:Hey @Blingqueen023... Hope all is well... I'm not ordering either ring... The Q's is less expensive, but I think it looks sort of like, well, it should be inexpensive... and the one review isn't at all positive. It mentions the color isn't good. Agree, though, the BE ring might have been better represented in pictures. On the face of it, though, theirs looks to me to be the better piece of jewelry and is more realistic. I also don't like the lines of fake diamonds running along each side of the Q version. Who knows. When it gets right down to it, they're both costume pieces...
@AuntMame Just an FYI... Unless I change my mind, I'm not ordering so won't be able to offer any reivew on the BE version... I just wanted to post the picture so folks could see what it looks like.
@stevieb I was shocked when ‘I saw the review on this ring. When ?I first saw it presented, Shawn said she had the only copy of that ring. She said no other rings has been made yet. I like to know how this poster that gave the review got her hands on it so fast. I don’t believe this poster that gave the review even has the ring. Hope you have a happy and safe holiday.
Because as usual they have published a review written by someone who doesn't even have the ring. (At least it reads that way to me...)

The Q one is very pretty. I love the BE one!!
If anyone orders it, please post a review. I don't even wear rings often, but this aquamarine one is gorgeous by BE. I'm afraid the Q's would be too big, but it's gorgeous.

As I look at the one picture again, it appears as though it is a trillion cut on the side. Looks like the light is reflecting on it a bit. Glad to know that. Meghan or someone must have changed it..

I see that my order of the Meghan ring is finally shipping. ![]()
Love to hear what the rest of you think of your ring when you receive it!

My Meghan ring arrived today. It's really gorgeous! The stone is a pretty ocean blue close to Swiss topaz. Reminds me of the blue in a swimming pool. No green in it unlike the stone of the pic of the mock-up. The stone really sparkles. It's huge and sits high on the finger but it doesn't flop around. This is not a ring you wear while doing dishes. This is a ring you wear while serving cocktails. The Diamonique stones along the side give it an elegant look.
I'd post a pic except my fingers are dirty and grubby from gardening.
I'm delighted by the ring. Wish QVC would make a pendant with this faux aquamarine stone to go along with the ring. Now that would be something!
