Dancing . . I loooove listening to you talk about the SW and how long you've been collecting. It's funny, but I love even saying "Durango" . . there's something so cool about it lol. It's the epitome of the west IMO.

Thanks jugtown...Durango is a pretty cool little town to live in...We have a steam powered Narrow Gauge train that goes up into the mountains to a little mining town called Silverton that is always fun to do when visitors come to town...There are also a lot of stores selling silver jewelry but so far the best prices that I've found are at Carolyn's or Q's site...

I keep meaning to ask you...I think you said you had the coral naja enhancer..there are two on the Q's site..one with more roundish stones and one with pointy stones..which one do you have and do you love it..?...I'm thinking of getting the one with the rounder stones to wear on my honker native pearl necklace...

Yesterday I had a lucky thing happen...I have a band ring from Carolyn from years and years ago on the Q it was a set of three band rings..two thin and one thick band..the thick band has indents of a mission church...saguaro cactus...mountains...adobe house etc...well I lost it on Tuesday shoveling snow...I had it for I'd say almost 20 years...it was one of Carolyn's first items..Well yesterday I went out into the area of my courtyard that I shoveled ..we had temps in the 40's so a lot of the snow melted and low and behold..there was my ring...I was so happy I didn't lose it forever...lol...little things make me happy...DW

That train sounds cool, Dancing, and I'll tell ya what . . it's fun to shop wherever you go, but it's nice to know the quality is definitely there for the price with CP/AW. I've noticed that myself. Not there aren't beautiful, well-made N.A. and SW pieces out there . . I can't always afford them. SO WONDERFUL that you found your ring . . amazing that it's probably in good shape too, huh?

I have the super coral naja, and I absolutely love it! Hope this pic comes out and is not too huge lol . . can't find my photobucket acct . . not sure what's up with that. Any how, it's definitely one of my top 5 faves!

Hey Juggie, easy pay day is March 11th according to my QVC insider magazine.

Is that Cody's necklace in your pic? I was wearing mine the other day with the pendant that came with when I went to have my mammogram, the technician kept staring at my necklace not paying attention to what she was doing! She thought I was joking when I asked if I'll need to come back because the pictures are going to be out of focus!

Ha ha haaaaaaaaa . . that's too funny, Kath! Yes, those are the same beads, and it's no wonder she couldn't stay focused . . that necklace/pendant is so unusual and beautiful. I haven't worn mine in a while cuz I keep forgetting to tighten the ring on one of the dangles .. don't want to take a chance on losing it. Thanks for the info about EP day! Hugs girl.

Hello Dancing Women, CL, Kathoderay, Juggie and all other CP/AW loving Sistas! I haven't been on the forum for quite a while...but I so enjoyed this thread that I just have to chime in. Congrats, DW on the RT cuff. Yes, it is a stunner, isn't it? I also indulged and it is sitting pretty on display right now. Mine weighs in at 52 grams (I have a large wrist) and it is definitely not for the faint at heart. But it is sooooooo beautiful! I am so grateful to Carolyn and the AW team for honoring Roderick in this way. Since I came rather late to the party (2003) I do not own many RT pieces like Cooking Lady, or some of you sistas, but the few I own I really, really enjoy. His cross, his butterfly on the collaborative bracelet and his inlay work on the collaborative enhancer. All are exceedingly beautiful pieces of art.)

Dancing Women, I love your Durango story. My DH and I are planning to visit the Southwest together and it will be a discovery tour for us. Congrats on the cuff! Juggie, I really like your big, bold red coral naja and the pretty beaded necklace you are showing. I had a chance to get it on the A site a few years back but I didn't, sigh. I believe Jug and CL are the naja queens, lol and I am trying to catch up in this life time. Love, love najas, however, my latest RT purchase if setting me back a little. I enjoy most of CP's jewelry and my absolute favorite is the American West line. There's something for everyone - they have a wonderful mix of big and bold for those that can carry it off and more demure pieces for those that like petite.

Only 25 days or so until Spring. Can't wait. So sick of this white stuff that hangs around here.

Hi Haca, Kath, Jug, DW and all the "sisters" old and new to this forum -- I am feeling really "enabled" right now after seeing Cody's necklace with the Naja - I do believe I can hold out no longer and must add that Naja to my collection. I can justify (I guess) that I have sold a lot of jewelry and have really curtailed my spending - (although not enough - LOL) - but I have admired that Naja and seeing it on Cody's necklace reminds me how much I love that necklace and how much I love and adore Naja's (my fav) soooooI have some serious thinking to do - wonder if it will still be around on EZP day!!

And after all I didn't get the RMT cuff ---which I really wanted soooooooooooo????
