What lovely people you all must be!!Expressing an opinion is one thing. Even providing a reason why you passed on an item is fine, but there is no reason for being unkind. I think those that love it should buy it and wear it with pride.
No reason why anyone should be embarrassed to wear this watch or anything else from this jewelry line if they love it and decided it was worth it to them. I think many of JR's items are very pretty..........and unless you wear the jewelry with a price tag attached, no one needs to know that you paid several times what the jewelry reasonably is worth. They just see pretty jewelry. So all is well.

I was surprise to see the TSV watch in tonight's show.

Sheesh please post your review as soon as you get the watch. I was tempted to order because the stones are fully cut, hand set and it is a swiss movement which makes the price alittle high, but not that out of line(in my opinion). I am a conservative dresser so am not sure I can 'pull it off', but they kept saying it wasn't showing well on the tv screen so I bet it is more subtle and gorgeous in person. I have a feeling I would like it in person and was tempted by the blue and the black...just couldn't tell if it was for me or not. I hope you love them and I suspect once a few reviews are up those watches will fly out of there. Wear and enjoy!!!!!

I didn't care for this watch at all.

Thank you, equss, I sure will. I'm also a conservative dresser. I wear a lot of suit looks and blazers/jackets in solid colors, not too many prints (but I do love my animal prints---so there's that). I think a simple background is a great way to display the jewelry---it shouldn't have to fight with your clothes.
Here's an example of how I would wear the Green watch: Black Crepe Blazer and matching slacks with a Linea Whisper Knit Malachite Tank underneath. Black Suede pumps and a nice Black Leather handbag. Very simple. Then I'd wear the Green Monaco Watch paired with a combination of Green Mint Monaco or Green Goddess rings (if a business meeting, I wouldn't wear the Monaco). Then I'd add bracelets, layering 2 (no more than 3) on my right wrists, including the Green Goddess line bracelet with a Cuff or the Ice Cube bracelet (again, if business meeting, I'd opt for no more than 2 bracelets). For earrings, I'd do the small Green Goddess studs; and for necklace, the Green Goddess enhancer either on the Black Braided necklace or the Green Goddess station chain. Now, if I wanted to change that out fit up, I'd leave out the Blazer and add the Linea Whisper Knit Swing Cardigan in Malachite and I'd change out the earrings to these and then maybe layer on some chains.
So you see, the clothing is simple. I can switch out the Linea tops for the Ruby Color and then switch to the Brown Monaco, add the Ginger Monaco Ring, a Honey Citrine JR2 Montana Ring, a Citrine line bracelet with a cuff and the Garnet/Citrine/Rhodolite drop earrings and matching enhancer from a few years back.
I can also switch the top to a Linea Whisper Knit Turtle neck and add a Leather Jacket with high heeled boots and either trim down the jewelry or beef it up.
With simple clothing, the possibilities are endless---I can see pearl suites, Turquoise Eclipse suites, Rose Quartz suites, Black Onyx suites....or whatever suites you have or are building.
I wear a lot of Black in my wardrobe, but you can do the same with Navy, Grey, Brown, etc...
Judith always seems to wear mostly solid outfits, as does Joan Rivers, always showcasing the jewelry and accessories.
I'd love to hear how you might put together your outfit with your Ripka.
We should start an Open Thread on "How Are You Styling Your Ripka Today"...and then people can just post and we all get great ideas on combing our pieces. We do this over on the Linea Forum and it's just great to read how all the gals are putting together their looks.
Take care.

Very chic Sheesh! Love your ideas. I got the blue TSV watch. I think it is going to be exceptional. Love it and very different than all the others I have of hers (which includes all the silicones except the white, black and gray pearl) the black and brown ceramics, the gold chrono, and a couple of the rectangulars, one with the blue DMQ and one with the clear DMQ. I too wear mostly solids so that I can feature Judith's lovely jewelry. Enjoy everyone who has one of these beautiful watches coming home to them and have a great day!

A Ripkanista can change her mind!![]()
I wasn't able to watch some of the shows but I did buy, cancel, buy and cancel two of the TSV watches, green and brown. I like them and think they will spice up any wardrobe, especially as Sheesh has said, you wear solids, which I do. I love to showcase the jewelry and an occasional scarf.
I did so because once I saw the BT soft bracelet, I cracked like an egg. BT is my birthstone, I prefer this Swiss blue over sky and London and at 3/4" wide it spoke to me. I have many things it will go with but I also think it will become a signature piece that I will wear with my Regent watch, whether silver or gold.
With no EZP on that one I decided that I prefer one major piece than the watches or anything else. So, I will post when I get it along with a pic for you all to see. I hope I love it when I see it, if not, it goes back.
Looking forward to seeing all your reviews.

WB, I think you made the right decision. The BT Link Bracelet is a statement piece and is limited. I was coveting the AMY, but did not get. I have a feeling you'll be able to pick up a watch or two at a later time.

Sheesh you are obviously a very stylish lady. I am outside in jeans and t-shirts 99.9% of the time, so I generally only wear a watch and on occasion a Ripka cuff. Because I generally only wear a watch I was thinking I might have fun with the new one. I have too many watches but I do like them!
