I just saw a post from former Shop HQ host Fatima Cocci that Stefano Oro (from Italy) will be coming to JTV.

IMO Stefano had some of the best gold prices, especially when ShopHQ had sales.

He is constantly introducing new products and designs, and some are very creative.

Too bad for QVC that they did not go after him, but they seem to be quite content with Adorna gold, although I think the gram cost mark up is extremely high,  and the designs are more mainstream.

Sadly the cost of gold is through the roof, so purchases have to be made more carefully.

@FancyPhillyshopper Adorna is made by Atasay in Turkey. QVC's Italian Gold is made by Milor.

I think Stefano will do very well on the other network. Maybe he doesn't have the volume of inventory to sell to a large shopping channel like QVC.

JTV already has a gold line from Italy,  Splendido Oro, surprised they want another one, but competition is good for biz.

I'm surprised but happy for Stefano.  Well I'll have to look at them  again.  They were boring for a while with their endless silver.  Every show.

Not surprised at QVC.  They invest heavily in clothes and beauty.  Not much time for gold.  The one thing ShopHQ sold, was their gold.  

Anyone know when he starts?
