So DISAPPOINTING that extended financing not available on certain Vault discoveries

[ Edited ]

Made it a point to save my time in order to watch Peyton and Jane during their Vault discoveries. What is so disappointing to me is that two rings of which I was so interested in buying , the Morganite and the Aquamarine , are only offered on 5 easy pays and not the 12 or 18 month financing. Each of these rings in nearly $3000 , and having more than 5 easy payments would have been so helpful. Perhaps it has to do with the quanities available , but still disappointing to me. I so wanted that Morganite OR the Aquamarine. MJ

@MILKI  I looked at both of the rings during the QVC TV presentation and I felt the same way that you did.  Its a big investment to buy a $3,000 piece of jewelry, and 5 Easy Payments would be a lot of money to pay every month.  I can't afford these rings, but they really were beautiful to look at.  I hope that there are more morganite and aquamarine pieces for you to enjoy in 2025.

Sometimes there is a reason NOT to buy something.  If a purchase will not fit your budget, then there is no need to stress yourself out.

Through the decades I have had to pass on many QVC jewelry items because I could not swing the cost at the time.  Other times I was able to pick up some lovely pieces at great prices precisely because I had money available from not overspending it a few weeks earlier.

Right now they are showing a morganite ring in silver for only 229.00.

I never buy Vault Discoveries because Peyton usually uses small and mediocre diamonds as accents (and diamonds are my favorite stone!), and I think his prices are too high in general. Yes, gold has increased, but his gold settings are sometimes thin.

Also, check out J434991 for a bargain purchase.

Prices on most pieces so over inflated !

I bought  2 vault pieces and  one was  a ring that  was so cheap looking - sent it back .  Kept the  vault earring but found   the same a few months later much less costly

Probably the issuing bank's CREDIT decision.   (High risk)

@MILKI  You could charge it on a 0% interest card that offers 12 or 14 months to pay. You could also charge it to one of your credit cards and then do a balance transfer to another with 0% interest for 12, 14 or 21 months.. Just a suggestion. Just save up until you can pay in full.

$3000 for each ring? For non essential items that serve no real purpose, but to look pretty?

That is a lot of money that it sounds like you don't have to burn.

If you can't afford the easy pays, you can't afford the ring at all.

QVC did you a favor by not having extended financing.

Sometimes QVC is like window shopping.  It is nice to browse the merchandise even if we know it is out of our price range.

I knew this post would turn into a lecture eventually.

I love QVC

But… I don’t trust the High end jewelry that any of the vendors sell. Sorry I’d rather go to my trusted local hometown jewelry store. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@MILKI

Financially, this should be a RED FLAG MOMENT for you.

While Easy Pay and Flex Pay and all the others are a nice convenience, it can also cause less disciplined people to nickle and dime themselves to death by purchasing things they honestly can't afford.

if you can't afford the full amount on the spot, stick to window shopping.   Your retirement fund will thank you.
