OMG...forgot all about sleepers.  I have not heard anyone mention them.  Just the piercing guns

@disneynut57  I can't sleep in regular earrings but would like something that is a good brand.

I bought a stainless steel pair from Etsy.  They come in several sizes.

@SilleeMeeThanks so much, I will check it out. Do you also shower in them?

@VenturaHighway ,

Yes, I shower with them in my ears. I have them in second piercings and I don't take them out except to clean them occasionally, not often at all. The ones I got have to be pulled apart, sort of bending the metal to get them on and off...like a large jump ring if you are familiar with that kind of jewelry finding. They don't have a hinge. The hoops I got are from StudioVy. If you copy and paste this in the search box then you will see the hoops listed there on Etsy:

Surgical steel hoop earrings Stainless Small hoop earrings Tiny helix earring Conch piercing Tragus piercing Cartilage hoop nose/Septum ring

The hoops open like this:

@SilleeMee  Those earrings look like they would work great. I do want something small.

@VenturaHighway

Mine are very small and they barely wrap around my lobe with very little space between the earring and my lobe. They never get in the way and I never feel them on while I'm sleeping.

I'd forgotten about sleepers.  I think I used them in the 70s

Amazon has a bunch.  I'm triple pierced. I need some.

@SilleeMee  I sleep on my side so that is good to know.
