Jennifer Coffey just said the TSV is "simulated" onyx. Is it real or fake? I will cancel my order if it is not real.

If she said it was simulated, then it's not real.

HOWEVER, considering the source I would say she's wrong.  I highly doubt that they would have simulated gem stones in the TSV on Gem Day.

It should say on the product page but it does not.

Wow if that onyx is really fake then how can they legally call it a gemstone?? I would think somewhere it should say in order for them to sell such a thing.

Re: Simulated onyx??? or real?

During the very lengthy presentation by Antonella with their gem 'expert' it wasn't mentioned that the onyx was simulated. All of the options were referred to as 'gem stones'. I can't imagined they'd use fake onyx anyway, but especially during what is supposed to be a gem day. If you have questions, though, you might want to contact customer service and see if they can verify that they're offering real onyx.

Is the mine closed for onyx too? Woman LOL  Why in the heck would someone need to use a simulated onyx?

QVC's losing it jewelry wise.  When Carolyn Pollack was here, Sharon F. gave the gram weights of the TSV bracelets in both widths and all sizes.  By the time Nancy was presenting the TSV, her line producer was giving her different gram weights than what Sharon stated.

There are many elements: wind, fire, water
But none quite like the element of surprise

Re: Simulated onyx??? or real?

I called Customer Service and Yes, it's simulated. This is the first time it's been mentioned. Bad marketing QVC. I cancelled my orders.

I would call customer service to verify that it is real.  They need to know if Jennifer mis-stated that it was simulated so they can make an on air correction if thy havent already.

Yes, it's simulated. And I know about GIA, since I am an Accredited Jewlery Professional, with a certificate from GIA. Very bad marketing that this is the first time it was mentioned. I cancelled my orders.
