I have received J290384, the Contessa Pearl necklace and J290382, the diamonique rondel station necklace in yellow gold clad. Wow! When the Contessa necklace is worn at 20" length, paired with the white pearl necklace in 16" that is no longer listed, and with it's larger sister, the 18" pearl necklace (J289031), the look is fresh and stunning. Another wonderful combination is the 16" white pearl strand with the new gold clad rondel chain (J290382) at 18", and the Contessa necklace worn at 20" length. Love these looks!

These combinations can be paired with the gold clad dew drop earrings, or the double hoop clad convertible earrings, and I am sure with the new gold clad and pearl convertible earrings as well. What versatility in these pieces. I am wearing the two pearl strands with the Contessa necklace today. I now see myself getting a lot more wear out of my clad pieces, even if I wear the pearl necklaces with their sterling clasps hidden in the back. Who will ever know?

Hi and thanks for your kind comments, BGDC, Waterbaby, Me2Me and Donnaluby. I am so glad I purchased those pearls in 16" and 18" as I find myself wanting to wear them all the time. Who knew pearls could be so much fun with a clasp large enough for a clip-on?

I will say that I am not an expert in layering like many others here. Starcross comes to mind, and so does Sir Cancelot, and Indy, and Sheesh, and Wishd4it, and I miss TheOriginalMuseStruck too. Where are you? We miss you here!

Me2Me, you will love the Contessa necklace.

Donnaluby, I actually like the dew drop earrings best with these combinations, I guess because of the small round shape to the earrings.

Waterbaby, I think I will finally get the wear I have wanted to get out of my clad pieces now. All because of The Contessa, which is a neutral that goes with everything.

BGDC, the Deco pieces work so well with these, as Merrylass illustrated best in her picture.
