LG used to have some really nice jewelry boxes and now there is next to nothing except for the mirrored floor/wall item. Did all the patents expire?

I don't think patents have anything to do with this. Its just an item they may bring back and they may not. QVC has pretty much turned into One Order and Done on a lot of this stuff. Check Colleen Lopez Prestige boxes on HSN, they seem to have them in stock most of the time.

Design patents last 14 years from the date you are granted the patent, so it's possible.

Back 15 plus years ago, jewelry was a hot commodity when gold prices were low. Thus there were a lot more jewelry shows and jewelry cases. Now they hardly ever have jewelry shows, thus less selling of jewelry boxes. I have about 4 different styles of jewelry boxes large and small that I bought back then.

I've tried a variety and I much prefer the Prestige Boxes at HSN. They are terrific and a variety of sizes and colors.

I like the zippered silver keeper bags from Silver Guard site. I can put my silver jewelry pieces in those & put in my jewelry drawers that are above the other drawers of our dresser. They come in handy when traveling too.

I also like Colleen's Prestige boxes on HSN. I have lots of them in various configurations and have never had things tarnish in them. It's best to look for them when she has her Colleen's Gallery shows scheduled. They sell out fast.

I have a couple of Preserve silver safe keeper wraps that Jill used to sell a lot. They work very well. I no have one of Colleens boxes and it seems to be working too.

Go over on HSN. I have some of their jewelry boxes (as well as some of the older QVC ones). I think some of HSN's are good also.

Just an idea.

I have been very pleased with the large size pouches from Prezerve that I got from the Q years ago.
