Silver Safekeeper

I was just reading a review about a piece of silver. The customer commented that after a while the finish of the bracelet was tarnished and wouldn't come clean. She assumed it was the silver. I have had two watches almost ruined (one RLM and one Eclissi) when I kept them in the Lori Grenier jewelry box. I put them in clean. Has anyone else had this problem?
