I love that jewelry. It's my concept of what silver should be. So it's coming up on January 28. It's been nearly a year since they had some new Ultrafine come in. It must not be too popular. Only a few pieces come in at a time. Not like JAI who delivers tons of choices. Just seeing a few new pieces will cheer me up over this endless snow!

I really have enjoyed ultrafine in the gold tone. They had the perfect gold tone 2 inch round hoop earrings. I wore them for years without a problem.
Now I did purchase one in silver tone cuff, 6.5-6.00? and I liked it.
However it tarnished so quickly and badly. I tried every method known to man, to fix it.. lol. no go.
Please bring back the gold tone ones. Thanks!

I saw the new UltraFine Silver items and they didn't cheer me up. Some chain, similar to a bismark, a paperclip bracelet, two tone hoop earrings, polished bead drop earrings, an electroform ring.
They have UltraFine Silver shows on the strangest days. December I get, but Klondike Gold Rush and Halloween?

@Pink123 I am happy to hear the gold tone has lasted! I've considered buying the gold tone Ultrafine and was honestly worried how long they'd last. This was good to know.

I still can't bring myself to buy 18K over silver. So all the gold is mostly solid 18K & a few 14K. My silver is mostly Ultrafine. I think it will come off eventually. Other silver I'll buy if it's rhodium plated and I avoid getting it wet. Water is really bad on silver that is rhodium plated. It tends to get it off. ,You're OK with necklaces and bracelets, but forget rings. No mater how you try to take them off, washing dishes or washing hands, you might forget. That includes rhodium over solid white gold. You don't have to worry about getting Ultrafine wet. They have no plating. (like Platinum) Primary reason my wedding rings and engagement ring are in Platinum. And not white gold. You're always OK in yellow gold, but it dims diamonds which always look better in white gold or platinum.

@songbird Your jewelry collection must be beautiful! I have a little of everything but mostly I am like your sister who you've written about being partial to DY silver. Over the years I've received such beautiful heavy pieces of DY or JH silver mixed with solid gold or gemstones. They are exquisite in my opinion and all wear like iron. The silver is not plated and I have one bracelet in particular I never take off and it remains as pretty as the day I received it. The diamond pieces I have from DY were special anniversary gifts from my husband and the diamonds are top quality. My JAI pieces are heavy and I have several pieces I enjoy wearing often.
Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder and I am very interested in the next jewelry event on 1/31. Hopefully you will find something you like from the Ultrafine collection!

I had a pair of earrings that were a metal that really bothered me, so I just painted the posts and the back of the stud with clear nail polish.
After the polish dried, no irritation.
