I have shopped at ShopNBC for several years, and have loved most of what I've gotten from them. I have several high-end rings that I bought when gold was more affordable, as well as silver and pearls, and clothing. I have always been one of their defenders, when others complained about their customer service.
Well, my days of shopping there may be over. Yesterday, I came home to find a message on my machine from a collection agency, and when I called ShopNBC credit department I was told that they were having an issue with paypal. It had nothing to do with my credit but with them. I told them to put my paypal pending value payments on my credit card, and figured it was resolved. They told me that their issue with paypal was getting resolved, as well. I went out again, and came home to another message, this one from ShopNBC, telling me that there was an "adverse repsonse" when they tried to put through a payment. I called again, and was told it was the same paypal issue and it was already resolved. All this got me very upset as I always pay my bills on time and should never have any kind of collection agency calling me! I am very hesitant now to purchase anything from ShopNBC. It left such a bad feeling with me. I did tell them that this should have been handled differently. After all, it had nothing to do with my paypal acoount or credit card, but with THEM.
